Meditation Made Easy - Part One

Have you tried to meditate but just couldn't stop your mind? Does it make you crazy to just sit still? The good news is meditations is NOT about stopping your thoughts! You'd be dead!

In this two part workshop, held Sundays 5/31 and 6/7, students will learn the fundamentals needed to start their own practice of stillness / mindfulness / meditation and will understand enough to be able to teach these concepts to other people. CEU's are available for those registered with Yoga Alliance.

We will discuss the history and science of meditation and breathwork, as well as the best positions to be in for comfort, while focusing on meditative practices.

Interwoven with the "lecture" portion of this workshop will be breathing exercises (pranayama) taught, as well as several ways to connect to a practice of meditation.

No experience is needed for this class, only an open heart and mind.

This class is hybrid - in person and online. For those taking class online, certain materials may be needed/desired. Full list is available when signing up for the class.
$25 in person; $20 via Zoom. An optional materials list will be issued for Zoom participants. In-person space is limited so reach out today!
